Yuji: Why don’t we go to see a baseball game?
Sarah: Sorry, I’m tied up.
Yuji: How about having dinner with me tonight?
Sarah: I’m afraid I can’t. I have to finish this work by tonight. How about a rain check?
Yuji: When is it convenient for you?
Sarah: I’m available tomorrow evening.
Yuji: That’s nice. About what time?
Sarah: After 7p.m. will be OK.
Yuji: Where shall be meet?
Sarah: Can you pick me up?
Yuji: All right.

free：「暇な」
Let me see…：「ええと……」「そうねぇ」とちょっと考えるときに使う。
Why don’t we～：「～しよう」
be tied up：「（時間的に）拘束されている」
How about～：「～はどう？」
I’m afraid～：「申し訳ありませんが～」
by～：「～までに」
rain check：ここでは「別の機会に」で、もともとは、「雨天順延券」のこと。 convenient：「都合の良い」
available：ここでは「手が空いている」「会うことができる」
pick＋人＋up：「～を迎えに来る（行く）」

Sarah: Let me see… (ええと……)
Yuji: Why don’t we go to see a baseball game? (野球の試合を見に行かない？)

Sarah: I’m afraid I can’t. I have to finish this work by tonight. How about a rain check? (悪いんだけど、できないわ。今夜中にこの仕事を終えなければならないの。また別の日にしてくれる？)
Yuji: When is it convenient for you? (君はいつが都合が良いんだい？)
Sarah: I’m available tomorrow evening. (明日の晩なら良いわよ。)
Yuji: That’s nice. About what time? (それはいい。何時にする？)
Sarah: After 7p.m. will be OK. (午後7時以降なら大丈夫よ。)
